Sources close to the family have clarified that actress Karisma Kapoor has no involvement or stake in the property matters of her former husband, businessman Sunjay Kapur. The couple divorced in 2016.
Amid recent discussions surrounding the division of Sunjay Kapur’s assets, sources close to the family have firmly stated that Karisma is in no way connected to any property, strongly refuting and rubbishing all on-going speculations. “She is not involved in any inheritance or property-related matters in anyway. The children are the rightful heir’s and will receive what is due to them. Karisma’s focus right now is only the well-being of her children”

Karisma Kapoor married businessman Sunjay Kapur in September 2003 and after getting married, the actress took a sabbatical from acting. She came back on the big screen almost a decade later with Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishq. The actress was also seen in the web-series Mentalhood. Kapur passed away after he had a heart attack when he accidentally swallowed a bee.
Dr Farah Husain, a senior anaesthesiologist and intensivist in New Delhi shared that a bee sting can be life-threatening. And now, the late businessman’s mother has made some shocking revelations and called his demise suspicous.
She reportedly wrote- “On June 12, my son Mr. Sunjay Kapur tragically passed away under highly suspicious and unexplained circumstances in the United Kingdom. Despite all attempts, I am not able to receive answers about my son’s death.”
Kapur’s mother added, “Despite me seeking information, I have been unable to receive any relevant answers and documents explaining the incident and have been confined to the knowledge and version set out by the media. While we’re in mourning, some people trying to usurp family legacy.”
