Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing incident left everyone shocked. After that, Ronit Roy’s security agency was hired to look after everything. Now, in a recent interview, the Udaan star shared a further aftermath of Saif’s stabbing case and revealed that when the actor was discharged from the hospital, Kareena too was attacked.
“Saif was returning home after being discharged from the hospital. There was a huge crowd and media everywhere. When Kareena was also heading back home from the hospital, her car was slightly attacked. So she got scared,” Ronit told while talking to Hindi Rush.
“Since there was media around, people also got too close, and her car was shaken a bit. That’s when she asked me to bring Saif home. So I went to pick him up, and once he reached home, our security was already in place, and we also had strong support from the police force. Now, everything is fine,” he added.
“What shocked me was when I spoke to Bebo (Kareena) and went to do a recce of the house while Saif was still in the hospital. I gave some very basic suggestions, but none of those things were in place. There’s no reason why they weren’t there… but they should have been. These are basics. Every home should have them. So, I implemented those basic measures,” Ronit revealed.
Talking about the lack of safety protocols at Saif’s residence, he added, “I wouldn’t say they were missing, but they weren’t being paid attention to. That’s because you don’t expect something like this to happen. And that’s exactly when it happens, when you’re not expecting it. That’s what intelligence is: you assess what could happen and plug those loopholes.”
On the professional front, Saif was recently seen in Netflix’s Jewel Thief, which also featured Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta and Kunal Kapoor in prominent roles.
