In only 3 days from launch, the film has stormed into the Top 10 charts across 15 countries (including Australia & Canada), clinching the #1 spot in nine of them.
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films , the film starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda is more than a romance — it’s a symphony of music, miracles, and emotions that audiences everywhere are falling for. What India embraced on the big screen is now being celebrated across continents on Netflix, making Saiyaara a global anthem of love. Along with Hindi, the film is also available in Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Malay, Spanish, Thai and Zulu.
And as per a report by Pinkvilla, Ahaan and YRF are coming together for another film to be directed by filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.
A source said, “Ali Abbas Zafar has been developing an action romance with Aditya Chopra as his next directorial. Ali has won over the audience with brilliant dramas like Sultan, and even in an action film like Tiger Zinda Hai.”
It added, “He made the storytelling gripping due to the drama that he infused in the scenes. Ali wanted to go back to his roots, to the genre that has given him so much love with his next film.”
The source continued, “He was blown away seeing Ahaan Panday and his aura with emotional and dramatic scenes in Saiyaara.”
“It was Aditya Chopra who suggested to Ali that he should go with Ahaan as a film with a young star would add to the surprise factor for audience. Aditya Chopra feels Ahaan’s underexposure is his biggest strength because after Saiyaara’s success, people will now be all the more excited to see what he does next,” it further revealed.
