Wedding bells might soon be ringing out in the Gandhi-Vadra family. Raihan Vadra, the son of Congress leader and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra, and businessman, Robert Vadra, is engaged to Aviva Baig.

The two have been a couple for the past seven years, say reports, adding that the duo will formalise their long-term relationship with an engagement ceremony expected to be held in Rajasthan. This function is expected to be held in January, though there is no official confirmation yet.

Aviva, residing in Delhi, shared the news of her engagement on Instagram, later adding it to her highlights. It is rumoured that Raihan proposed to Aviva after receiving consent from her family.

But who exactly is Aviva Baig? Here’s more about Raihan Vadra’s fiancee.

• Aviva Baig comes from a prominent business family in Delhi. Her father, Imran Baig, is a businessman, and her mother, Nandita Baig, is a popular interior designer.

• Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra and Nandita Baig are said to be old friends; Nandita Baig reportedly helped Priyanka with the interior design of the Congress headquarters, Indira Bhawan.

• The Baigs are reportedly close to the Vadra family and the two — Raihan and Aviva — know each for quite some time.

• Aviva completed her schooling from Delhi’s prestigious Modern School, located at Barakhamba Road.

• She has received a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from OP Jindal Global University.

• Aviva is also a former national-level football player.

• Currently, Aviva works as a Delhi-based photographer. She is also the co-founder of Atelier 11, a photography studio and production company that works with clients across India.

• She also has stints as a marketing intern at Art Chain India and editor-in-chief of The Journal at I Parliament to her name.

• An India Today report also states that Aviva has completed internships at Verve Magazine as well as Creative IMAGE magazine.

• It is said that Aviva and Raihan share a creative bond. Raihaan is a visual artist and photographer.

• In 2021, Vadra held his first solo exhibition, Dark Perception, at the Bikaner House in New Delhi. The exhibition was the result of the artist choosing to examine the world through a new lens.
